country.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Global Capability Centres\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global Capability Centres (GCCs), or <\/span><b>Captive Centres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, are <\/span><b>offshore offices or subsidiaries set up by multinational corporations (MNCs)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <\/span><b>handle various business processes and services.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GCCs <\/span><b>connect organizations to a global pool of top-tier talent,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> equipped with the<\/span><b> latest technology and training <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">needed to stay ahead of industry trends, continually innovate, and create sustained growth.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These centres are responsible for a <\/span><b>wide range of tasks,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including <\/span><b>IT support, research and development (R&amp;D), data analytics, finance, human resources, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, GCCs have<\/span><b> evolved <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">over time to expand massively and <\/span><b>now include critical business functions such as R&amp;D, analytics, digital transformation, and innovation.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>India now hosts 1,850 GCCs<\/b> <b>employing <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">almost <\/span><b>two million professionals.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India is <\/span><b>projected <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to have more than <\/span><b>2,400 GCCs by 2030 a<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nd employ more than <\/span><b>three million workers <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to achieve a $125 billion market size, signalling a transition into strategic \u2018enterprise AI brains.\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Key GCC hubs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are located
