{"id":7992,"date":"2022-11-22T01:52:55","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T20:22:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=7992"},"modified":"2025-03-29T00:13:07","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T18:43:07","slug":"international-committee-for-weight-and-measures-cipm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/international-committee-for-weight-and-measures-cipm\/","title":{"rendered":"International Committee for Weight and Measures (CIPM)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About International Committee for Weight and Measures (CIPM):<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The CIPM is a supreme international committee which functions under the authority of General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM):<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CGPM is a highest intergovernmental international organisation created as diplomatic treaty called\u00a0<strong>Meter Convention signed on 20th May 1875 in Paris.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is responsible for development and implementation of International Systems of Unites, universally abbreviated as SI, its wide dissemination;
