guidelines for a Battery Pack Aadhaar system.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Battery Pack Aadhaar System<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an <\/span><b>indigenous digital identification<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and data storage system developed to ensure <\/span><b>end-to-end traceability of batteries <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">throughout their entire lifecycle.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Objective:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This system aims to bring <\/span><b>transparency, accountability, and sustainability<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the <\/span><b>battery ecosystem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by enabling accurate tracking of performance, and environmental impact.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of Battery Pack Aadhaar System<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>battery producer or importer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> shall have the obligation of <\/span><b>assigning a unique Battery Pack Aadhaar Number (BPAN) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to each battery that they introduce in the market and the battery they put to self-use.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every Electric Vehicle battery pack and <\/span><b>industrial battery above 2 kWh<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be assigned <\/span><b>a 21 character Battery Pack Aadhaar Number<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or BPAN, along with a <\/span><b>QR code.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The BPAN will <\/span><b>store<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Static information: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It includes the <\/span><b>manufacturer\u2019s identity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, battery specifications, material composition, and carbon footprint.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Dynamic data<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 including <\/span><b>battery health, thermal events<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, charge-discharge cycles, and end-of-life status \u2014 will be maintained on a central server, enabling predictive maintenance and efficient recycling.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li
