and a detailed investigation has been launched to analyze the issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About PSLV-C62 Mission<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>multi-payload mission<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the Indian Space Research Organisation (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/isro\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>ISRO<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) that carries <\/span><b>one primary satellite and 18 secondary payloads into space.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is <\/span><b>ISRO\u2019s first space launch of 2026.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is scheduled to lift off from Sriharikota.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The mission&#8217;s <\/span><b>primary payload<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is the <\/span><b>earth observation satellite EOS-N1 (codenamed \u2018Anvesha\u2019),<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> an <\/span><b>hyperspectral imaging satellite developed primarily for<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the Defence Research and Development Organisation <\/span><b>(DRDO) for strategic purposes.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike conventional imaging satellites, hyperspectral satellites can \u201csee\u201d the Earth in hundreds of wavelengths<\/span><b>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> allowing them to identify materials and objects with far greater precision.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This capability makes EOS-N1 a high-value asset for national security, border surveillance and strategic monitoring.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the same time, the satellite will <\/span><b>also be used for civilian applications<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> such as agriculture planning, urban mapping, mineral detection, and environmental style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> an <\/span><b>experimental mission <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">involving a <\/span><b>small re-entry capsul<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e developed in collaboration with a <\/span><b>Spanish startup.\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The capsule is expected to <\/span><b>re-enter Earth\u2019s atmosphere and splash down in the South Pacific Ocean.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, <\/span><b>17 commercial payloads from startups and research institutions across India, Mauritius, Luxembourg, the UAE, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Singapore, Europe, and the <\/span><b>United States<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are manifested for the PSLV-C62 Mission.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Several Indian startups <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and academic institutions are also <\/span><b>flying their satellites.\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These include <\/span><b>OrbitAID Aerospace\u2019s AayulSAT, CV Raman Global University\u2019s CGUSAT-1, Dhruva Space\u2019s DA-1,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Space Kidz India\u2019s SR-2, Assam Don Bosco University\u2019s Lachit-1, Akshath Aerospace\u2019s Solaras-S4, and Dayanand Sagar University\u2019s DSAT-1.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Bengaluru-based OrbitAID Aerospace\u2019s AayulSAT <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stands out as a <\/span><b>historic first.\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is<\/span><b> India\u2019s maiden on-orbit satellite refuelling payload.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The mission aims to<\/span><b> demonstrate technologies <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that could <\/span><b>extend the operational life of satellites <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by enabling<\/span><b> in-orbit servicing and
