The <\/span><b>Kolar River<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> forms the <\/span><b>western boundary <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the reserve.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Two large reservoirs,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> namely <\/span><b>Barna Reservoir and Ratapani Dam (Barrusot Lake)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are among the major water bodies adjacent to or inside the reserve.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The landscape is undulating, with hills, plateaus, valleys, and plains.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reserve has <\/span><b>Bhimbetka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a <\/span><b>group of rock shelters and rock paintings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is one of the \u201d <\/span><b>World Heritage Sites <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d declared by UNESCO.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also encompasses many other historical and religious destinations like<\/span><b> Ginnourgarh Fort, POW camp, Keri Mahadeo, Ratapani Dam, Jholiyapur Dam, etc.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Flora:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The forest of Ratapani is a <\/span><b>dry deciduous and moist deciduous type,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with teak (Tectona grandis) as the main tree species.
