{"id":82500,"date":"2026-08-26T14:30:25","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T09:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=82500"},"modified":"2026-08-26T14:59:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T09:29:08","slug":"pragati-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/pragati-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"PRAGATI Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>PRAGATI Platform Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Prime Minister of India chaired the 53rd meeting of the PRAGATI platform.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About PRAGATI Platform<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) is the Government of India\u2019s flagship platform <\/span><b>launched in 2015.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It focuses on <\/span><b>fast-tracking projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, schemes, and grievance redressal through direct, real-time review by the <\/span><b>Prime Minister,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>partnership with States and Union Ministries.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The system has been designed in-house by the <\/span><b>PMO team with the help of the National Informatics Center (NIC).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It uniquely brings together three modern technologies\u2014<\/span><b>digital data management, video conferencing, and geospatial technology.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Key Features of PRAGATI Platform<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>three-tier system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PMO, Union Government Secretaries, and Chief Secretaries of the States).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the apex level, the <\/span><b>Prime Minister chairs PRAGATI review meetings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with Chief Secretaries of States and Secretaries of Central Ministries\/Departments to resolve issues related to identified projects and schemes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The design is such that when PM reviews the issue, he should have on his screen the issue as well as the latest updates and visuals regarding the same.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the meetings, a multi-tier follow-up mechanism ensures timely implementation of decisions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Projects are monitored by the Cabinet Secretariat,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> while schemes and grievances are reviewed at the Ministry level under continuous oversight of the Prime Minister\u2019s Office (PMO).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Issues to be flagged before the PM are picked up from the available database regarding public grievances, ongoing programmes, and pending projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleaseDetail.aspx?PRID=2303329&amp;reg=1&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRAGATI Platform is the Government of India\u2019s flagship platform launched in 2015.
