Lambadi has no script.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Belief System:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The majority of <\/span><b>Banjara in India are Hindu;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> some have combined Hindu practices with their own animistic beliefs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Culture of Lambadi Tribe<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Banjara people celebrate the <\/span><b>festival of Teej during Shravanam<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (in the month of august).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this festival young unmarried Banjara girls pray for a good groom.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Fire dance and Chari<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are the traditional dance forms of the banjara people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tattoos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are very common in their community.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women, Lambadi \/ Gor women (Thandri) wear <\/span><b>a very colourful red style dress and<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> lots of jewellery.
