{"id":87547,"date":"2026-02-13T13:27:41","date_gmt":"2026-02-13T07:57:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=87547"},"modified":"2026-02-13T14:49:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-13T09:19:30","slug":"ayushman-sahakar-scheme-upsc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/ayushman-sahakar-scheme-upsc\/","title":{"rendered":"Ayushman Sahakar Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Ayushman Sahakar Scheme Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Union Minister for Home and Cooperation informed the Rajya Sabha about the Ayushman sahakar scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Ayushman Sahakar Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>scheme of the National Cooperative Development Corporation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for financial assistance to cooperatives on <\/span><b>holistic healthcare infrastructure, education and services.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Objectives of the Ayushman Sahakar Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To assist <\/span><b>provision of affordable and holistic healthcare<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through hospitals \/ healthcare \/ education facilities by cooperative societies,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To assist <\/span><b>promotion of AYUSH facilities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by cooperative societies,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To assist <\/span><b>cooperative societies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> meet the objectives of National Health Policy,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To assist cooperative societies participate in the <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-digital-health-mission\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Digital Health Mission<\/a>,<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To assist cooperative societies provide comprehensive healthcare including education, services, insurance and activities related thereto.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of Ayushman Sahakar Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Eligibility:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Any <\/span><b>Cooperative Society registered<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> under any <\/span><b>State\/ Multi State Cooperative Societies Act<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the country, with suitable provision in the bye-laws to undertake services related to hospital\/ healthcare\/ health education.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Loan Period:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Up to <\/span><b>8 years,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including 1 &#8211;
