{"id":9004,"date":"2022-10-29T06:55:12","date_gmt":"2022-10-29T01:25:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=9004"},"modified":"2025-03-29T10:40:24","modified_gmt":"2025-03-29T05:10:24","slug":"kannada-language-comprehensive-development-bill-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/kannada-language-comprehensive-development-bill-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Kannada Language Comprehensive Development Bill, 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Kannada Language Comprehensive Development Bill, 2022:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Bill aims for the effective implementation of Kannada as the official language of the state with English being the second communication language.<\/li>\n<li>The bill envisages reservation of jobs for Kannadigas both in the government and private organisations.<\/li>\n<li>It also has the provision to deny incentives such as tax holiday, tax rebate or exemption and discount in land procurement to the private companies, which do not provide reservation for Kannadigas in employment.<\/li>\n<li>The job applications have to clear the\u00a0Kannada language\u00a0examination that is equivalent to the first language or second language in SSLC (secondary school leaving certificate).
