Technology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with a total outlay of Rs.6003 crore for a <\/span><b>period from 2023-24 to 2030-31.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aiming to <\/span><b>seed, nurture and scale up scientific and industrial R&amp;D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and create a vibrant &amp; innovative ecosystem in <\/span><b>Quantum Technology (QT).<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is one of the nine initiatives under the <\/span><b>Prime Minister\u2019s Science Technology Innovation Advisory Council (PMSTIAC).<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Implementation Strategy<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is being implemented by <\/span><b>establishing four Thematic Hubs (T-Hubs)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across leading institutions in India and each T-Hub will follow the <\/span><b>Hub-Spoke-Spike model.<\/b><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\"><b>The mission focuses on 4 key areas<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Quantum Computing: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Led by the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Quantum Communication: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is led by the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras in association with the Centre for Development of Telematics, New Delhi<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Quantum Sensing &amp; Metrology: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is spearheaded by<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Quantum Materials &amp;
