{"id":9321,"date":"2022-10-20T09:10:37","date_gmt":"2022-10-20T03:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=9321"},"modified":"2025-03-29T12:35:56","modified_gmt":"2025-03-29T07:05:56","slug":"peoples-plan-campaign2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/peoples-plan-campaign2022\/","title":{"rendered":"People\u2019s Plan Campaign\u20132022"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About People\u2019s Plan Campaign\u20132022:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ministry of Panchayati Raj<\/strong>\u00a0organises People\u2019s Plan Campaign (PPC) every year (Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas) from\u00a0<strong>2nd\u00a0October to 31st\u00a0December.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>This year also PPC\u20132022 was launched on 2<sup>nd<\/sup>October, 2022 to prepare District\/ Block\/ Gram Panchayat Development Plans for the year 2023\u20132024.<\/li>\n<li>The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has evolved thematic approach aggregating 17 Sustainable goals into\u00a0<strong>9 broad themes of Localised Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs) at grassroots level.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In this PPC 2022, Panchayats will prepare\u00a0<strong>Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP)<\/strong>\u00a0on these 9 themes by adopting Whole-of- Government and Whole-of-Society approach.<\/li>\n<li>The Panchayat Development Plan aims to strengthen the\u00a0<strong>role of elected representatives of Panchayats and SHG Women under DAY-NRLM in effective Gram Sabha.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The Ministry\u2019s Plan document terms GPDP as a catalyst for transforming rural India and describes it as a comprehensive participatory process which involves full convergence with schemes of all related Central Ministries, line departments related to\u00a0<strong>29 subjects listed in the Eleventh Schedule of the Constitution.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM):<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>DAY-NRLM aims at mobilizing rural poor households into\u00a0<strong>Self Help Groups (SHGs)<\/strong>\u00a0in a phased manner and provide them long-term support to diversify their livelihoods, improve their incomes and quality of life.<\/li>\n<li>Most of Mission\u2019s interventions are being implemented and scaled up by the SHG women themselves who are trained as community resource persons (CRPs) \u2013 Krishi Sakhis, Pashu Sakhis, Bank Sakhis, Bima Sakhis, Banking Correspondent Sakhis etc.<\/li>\n<li>The Mission is also working on empowering the SHG women through awareness generation and behaviour change communication on issues like domestic violence, women\u2019s education and other gender related concerns, nutrition, sanitation, health etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Source :<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleseDetail.aspx?PRID=1869326\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ministry of Panchayati Raj organises PPC every year from 2nd October to 31st December.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":9322,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-9321","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-upsc-prelims-current-affairs","8":"no-featured-image-padding"},"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/9321","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=9321"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/9321\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/9322"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=9321"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=9321"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=9321"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
