It covers about 94,800 km\u00b2 of the area and includes states like Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Purvanchal Hills List<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Purvanchal region consists of multiple Purvanchal Hill ranges arranged in north-south direction with distinct physical and geological characteristics across northeastern India.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Patkai Hills<\/strong>: Located along the India-Myanmar border, these hills are formed during the Mesozoic era through tectonic activity.
