It plays a key role in selecting top-level management and ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability in banking operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What is Banks Board Bureau (BBB)?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Banks Board Bureau (BBB)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an autonomous body set up by the Government of India in 2016 to recommend appointments of top executives such as Chairpersons and Managing Directors in Public Sector Banks and financial institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was established based on the recommendations of the <\/span><b>PJ Nayak Committee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which aimed to reform the governance structure of public sector banks in India.
