{"id":94567,"date":"2026-03-24T14:33:44","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T09:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=94567"},"modified":"2026-03-24T14:41:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T09:11:23","slug":"national-ai-skilling-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-ai-skilling-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"National AI Skilling Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>National AI Skilling Initiative Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Union Minister for Information &amp; Broadcasting launched the national AI Skilling Initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About National AI Skilling Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aimed at <\/span><b>strengthening AI capabilities in<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> areas such as animation, visual effects, gaming, comics (AVGC) and media technology.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was launched by the <\/span><b>Ministry of Information and Broadcasting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in partnership with Google and YouTube.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This initiative <\/span><b>will train 15,000 participants<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the creative and media sectors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Implementation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is being implemented through the <\/span><b>Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT).<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of National AI Skilling Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will be conducted in <\/span><b>two phases.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Phase I:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It will focus on <\/span><b>foundational AI learning<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at scale through Google Career Certificates and Google Cloud Generative AI learning paths.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will undergo courses such as <\/span><b>AI Essentials, Prompting Essentials, Introduction to Generative AI, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and Generative AI Leader Path.
