Tracking (lVFRT) Scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Immigration, Visa, Foreigners Registration &amp; Tracking (lVFRT) Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The IVFRT platform is aimed at <\/span><b>integrating and streamlining immigration, visa issuance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and foreign registration processes in India through a secure, technology-driven framework.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was approved for a <\/span><b>period of five years from 01 April, 2026 to 31 March, 2031.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was originally <\/span><b>approved in 2010;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the project has undergone multiple phases of expansion and extension.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The latest approval comes in the backdrop of the recently <\/span><b>enacted Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025,\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Features of lVFRT Scheme<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme will <\/span><b>concentrate on three broad areas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emerging technology innovations, transformation of core infrastructure and optimisation of technology-enabled service delivery<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme will <\/span><b>modernize the immigration and visa ecosystem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through adoption of emerging technologies, including mobile-based services and self-service kiosks for seamless and secure passenger movement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will upgrade and <\/span><b>expand core infrastructure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across <\/span><b>Immigration Posts, FRROs, and Data Centres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to build a resilient and scalable system nationwide.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will <\/span><b>optimize technology and service delivery<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by introducing unified digital platforms, revamping core application architecture, and strengthening network and deployment frameworks for improved efficiency and user experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2245088&amp;reg=3&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Immigration, Visa, Foreigners Registration &#038;
