The<\/span><b> traditional occupation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the Sonwal was <\/span><b>panning for gold during the Ahom kingdom.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Today <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the Sonowal are <\/span><b>primarily engaged in agriculture<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
