significant breakthrough in understanding a long-standing solar mystery regarding solar radio burst.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Solar Radio Burst<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is defined as an <\/span><b>intense solar radio emission<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> associated with <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/what-is-a-solar-flare\/\" target=\"_blank\">solar flares<\/a>.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Origin:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These are observed in radio wavelengths most frequently during <\/span><b>solar transients, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/what-are-coronal-mass-ejections-cmes\/\" target=\"_blank\">coronal mass ejections<\/a> (CMEs) and flares.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SRBs are direct signatures of <\/span><b>accelerated electrons in the solar atmosphere<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These are observed across a wide range of wavelengths, <\/span><b>from millimetres to kilometres,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> corresponding to frequencies from the GHz to the kHz range.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Observations at short wavelengths correspond to distances close to the solar surface, while those at long wavelengths correspond to the large distances from the Sun.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Types:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Considering the morphological characteristics, five main categories of solar radio bursts can be distinguished: <\/span><b>Type I, Type II, Type III, Type IV, and Type V.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Impacts<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These solar transients have a direct impact on the <\/span><b>near-Earth atmosphere.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It can interfere with <\/span><b>Global Navigation Satellite System<\/b><span
