aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was designed by <\/span><b>Warship Design Bureau<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (WDB).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was built at <\/span><b>Garden Reach Shipbuilding and Engineers Ltd<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (GRSE).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is the <\/span><b>fifth P17A ship<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> getting delivered to the Indian Navy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a reincarnation of the <\/span><b>erstwhile INS Dunagiri, a Leander-class frigate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, that was part of the Indian Navy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of INS Dunagiri<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Propulsion:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These ships are configured with <\/span><b>Combined Diesel or Gas (CODOG) propulsion plants<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comprising a <\/span><b>diesel engine and a gas turbine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that drive a <\/span><b>Controllable Pitch Propeller<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (CPP) on each shaft, and state-of-the-art <\/span><b>Integrated Platform Management System<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (IPMS)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Armaments:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It comprises BrahMos<\/span><b> SSM, MFSTAR and MRSAM complex, 76mm SRGM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and a combination of 30 mm and 12.7 mm close-in weapon system, along with rocket and torpedoes for anti- submarine
