{"id":96811,"date":"2026-04-06T15:44:52","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T10:14:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=96811"},"modified":"2026-04-06T15:55:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T10:25:57","slug":"ecinet-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/ecinet-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"ECINet Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>ECINet Platform Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has urged voters to make informed choices by using the \u201cKnow Your Candidates\u201d (KYC) module available on its ECINet platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About ECINet Platform<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>single-point digital platform<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> developed by the <\/span><b>Election Commission of India (ECI).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>new user-friendly digital interface<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the electors and other stakeholders such as the election officials, political parties, and civil society.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of ECINet Platform<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It integrates and <\/span><b>reoriented over 40 of ECI\u2019s existing mobile<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and web applications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ECINET subsumed existing apps like the Voter Helpline App, Voter Turnout App, cVIGIL, Suvidha 2.0, ESMS, Saksham, and KYC App.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ECINET has an <\/span><b>aesthetic User Interface (UI) and a simplified User Experience<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (UX) by providing a singular platform for all electoral-related activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It offers a range of services to voters, including registration, electoral roll search, application tracking, and grievance redressal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additional features include <\/span><b>downloading digital voter ID cards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (e-EPIC), connecting with election officials, and booking calls with Booth Level Officers (BLOs).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The platform also <\/span><b>includes tools such as cVIGIL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for <\/span><b>reporting election code violations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Saksham<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for facilitating accessible services for <\/span><b>persons with disabilities.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has been <\/span><b>developed in full compliance with<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the Constitution of India, the Representation of the People Acts, 1950 and 1951, Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 and the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ddnews.gov.in\/en\/election-commission-launches-ecinet-kyc-feature-to-help-voters-check-candidates-background\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">DD News<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ECINet Platform is a single-point digital platform developed by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
