{"id":97570,"date":"2026-04-10T14:42:42","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T09:12:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=97570"},"modified":"2026-04-10T14:42:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T09:12:42","slug":"skills-outcomes-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/skills-outcomes-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Skills Outcomes Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Skills Outcomes Fund Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minister of State for Education, Government of India, has launched a national campaign to establish the Skills Outcomes Fund.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Skills Outcomes Fund<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at unlocking <\/span><b>aspirational livelihoods for youth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from <\/span><b>low-income backgrounds.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fund <\/span><b>envisages to mobilise public and private capital<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to scale outcomes-based financing (OBF) in India\u2019s skilling ecosystem, linking investments directly to <\/span><b>verified employment outcomes.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will be anchored by the <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-skill-development-corporation-nsdc\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Skill Development Corporation<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-skill-development-corporation-nsdc\/\" target=\"_blank\"> (NSDC)<\/a><\/strong> under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in <\/span><b>partnership with not-for-profit and philanthropic organizations \/stakeholders.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It would build on the success of India\u2019s first outcomes-based initiative, the <\/span><b>Skill Impact Bond<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, launched by the <\/span><b>National Skill Development Corporation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NSDC) in 2021.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A key innovation of the fund is its <\/span><b>employer-led, demand-driven skilling model<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ensuring alignment with industry needs.
