{"id":98015,"date":"2026-04-13T13:17:28","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T07:47:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=98015"},"modified":"2026-04-13T16:19:47","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T10:49:47","slug":"exercise-dustlik","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/exercise-dustlik\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise Dustlik"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Exercise Dustlik Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Indian Army contingent departed for participating in the 7th edition of the Exercise Dustlik.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Exercise Dustlik<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is <\/span><b>a joint military exercise<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> conducted between <\/span><b>India and Uzbekistan.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a yearly event conducted alternatively in India and Uzbekistan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Participating Forces:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It mainly Indian Army\u2019s Battalion of the MAHAR Regiment and 15 personnel from the Indian Air Force.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Aim:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To foster <\/span><b>military cooperation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and enhance combined capabilities to execute joint operations in semi-mountainous terrain.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will also establish a <\/span><b>unified operational algorithm<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> between the command-and-control structures of both the contingents for planning and execution of joint operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Key operational aspects to be practiced include <\/span><b>land navigation, strike missions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on enemy bases and seizure of enemy-held areas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will enable the two sides<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To share their best practices in <\/span><b>Tactics, Techniques and Procedures<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of conducting joint operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To further strengthen interoperability, operational synergy and joint command and control coordination between the contingents.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2251300&amp;reg=3&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exercise Dustlik  is a joint military exercise conducted between India and Uzbekistan.
