Census&#8221;).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hence, the central government is targeting implementation from the 2029 Lok Sabha elections onwards.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Redefining &#8220;Population&#8221; under Article 81:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shifting from &#8220;the last preceding Census&#8221; to &#8220;population as ascertained at such Census as Parliament may by law determine&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This grants Parliament the
