justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Amber Fort, also known as <\/span><b>Amer Fort,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is located in <\/span><b>Amer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a town located approximately <\/span><b>11 kilometers from the city of Jaipur <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in <\/span><b>Rajasthan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was constructed <\/span><b>atop a hill.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The fort was strategically situated on the <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/aravalli-range\/\" target=\"_blank\">Aravalli Range<\/a>, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Man Singh was <\/span><b>one of the trusted generals of Emperor Akbar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and one among the Navaratnas of his court.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prior to shifting their capital to Jaipur, <\/span><b>Amer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was the <\/span><b>capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>original construction<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the fort <\/span><b>began in 1592<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It underwent significant expansion and <\/span><b>renovation under the reign of Jai Singh I<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who ruled from <\/span><b>1621 to 1667.\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He is <\/span><b>credited with constructing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the impressive <\/span><b>Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience) and the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">within the fort complex.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following Jai Singh I&#8217;s enhancements, <\/span><b>successive rulers of the Kachwaha dynasty <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">continued to <\/span><b>contribute to Amer Fort&#8217;s development, until<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the<\/span><b> capital<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was s<\/span><b>hifted to Jaipur in 1727.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Amber Fort <\/b><b>Architecture<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its architecture is a noteworthy <\/span><b>fusion of Rajput (Hindu) and Mughal (Islamic) styles.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was built using <\/span><b>pink and yellow sandstones<\/b><span style=\"font-weight:
