The species is characterised by a hard exoskeleton, segmented body and jointed appendages.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Crustacean Characteristics<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crustaceans display remarkable diversity in morphology, habitat and behaviour, making them one of the most complex arthropod groups across aquatic ecosystems globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Body Structure<\/strong>: Crustaceans possess a segmented body divided into head, thorax and abdomen, often forming a cephalothorax covered by a carapace. 400;\"><strong>Uranoscopicolaidae<\/strong>: A newly discovered crustacean family from India, parasitic on Uranoscopus guttatus at 300-550 m depth, led to identification of Hirodai ohtsukai.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Parhyale Odian<\/strong>: A new amphipod species discovered in <strong><a
