It is believed that gods created the lake using their nails while escaping a demon named <\/span><b>Bashkali<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The act of digging the ground with nails is said to have led to the naming of the lake as \u201cNakh ki Jheel,\u201d meaning a lake formed by nails.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over time, the pronunciation and usage of \u201cNakh ki Jheel\u201d gradually evolved into the present name \u201cNakki Lake.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Nakki Lake Cultural and Tribal Importance<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nakki Lake is also important for local tribes and culture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Garacia tribe of Rajasthan <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">considers the lake a sacred place.
