      In May 2025, following India\u2019s launch of Operation Sindoor aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure, Pakistan responded with missile strikes targeting 15 key Indian locations, including Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, and Chandigarh.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

      In response, India activated the Akashteer System alongside the S-400 Sudarshan Chakra missile defence network.
