Countries with Nuclear Weapons: <\/b>Nine countries across the globe currently hold Nuclear Weapons, each holding a significant number of warheads. These weapons are capable of mass destruction to cause immediate, large-scale loss of life and could also lead to long-term global consequences, particularly by impacting agriculture and food security, putting billions at risk. The List of Countries with Nuclear Weapons include the United States, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, France, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Countries with Nuclear Weapons<\/b><\/h2>\r\n

Since the creation of the first atomic bomb in 1945, only a select group of nations has successfully developed Nuclear Weapons. Despite the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) intentions, countries such as India and Pakistan, went on to build Nuclear Weapons. South Africa, beginning in 1979, also developed nuclear arms, but it later voluntarily dismantled and joined the NPT in 1991 as a non-nuclear-weapon state.
