The opening and last keywords of the Preamble -\u201cWe, the people\u2026adopt, enact and give to ourselves this Constitution\u201d imply that sovereignty lies with the people of India. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><b>philosophy <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">behind the Preamble of the Indian Constitution is rooted in popular sovereignty, securing justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity to ensure democracy empowers citizens to build a unified nation. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thus, it is the <\/span><b>soul <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of the Constitution.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Preamble of Indian Constitution Evolution<\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The journey of the Preamble of Indian Constitution began with the <\/span><b>Objectives Resolution<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, introduced by<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/jawaharlal-nehru\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Jawaharlal Nehru<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on <\/span><b>December 13, 1946<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/constituent-assembly-of-india\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Constituent Assembly of India<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. It outlines the guiding principles and aspirations that shape the Indian state and society.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><b>Guiding principles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: The Preamble serves as the moral compass of the Indian Constitution.
