With the rapid expansion of digital payments through UPI, IMPS, cards and other platforms, the Payment and Settlement Systems Act 2007 remains crucial for maintaining payment-system stability, consumer trust and regulatory oversight.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Payment and Settlement Systems Act 2007 Features<\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Payment and Settlement Systems Act 2007 serves as the primary legislative framework governing the regulation and supervision of payment systems in India.
