LBSNAA (Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration) <\/b>is India's premier training institute for civil servants. Located in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, it trains IAS officers and conducts foundation courses for officers belonging to various civil services.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

LBSNAA <\/b>conducts a Common Foundation Course for entrants to the All India Services, Indian Foreign Service, <\/span>Group \u2018A\u2019 Central Services<\/b> and <\/span>Royal Bhutan Service<\/b>. It also provides professional training to regular IAS recruits and members of the Royal Bhutan Service. The academy organises in-service training, <\/span>Mid-Career Training Programmes (MCTPs) for IAS officers<\/a><\/b>, and induction training for State Civil Service officers promoted to the IAS. In addition, it conducts workshops and seminars on public policy, administration and governance.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

LBSNAA stands for <\/span>Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration<\/b>. It is a central government training institution that prepares civil servants for the responsibilities of public administration.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The academy functions under the <\/span>Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India<\/b>.
