Created in 1976, this service has the role of providing accounting and auditing services to the Government of India. ICAS Officers work under the Ministry of Finance through the Indian Civil Accounts Organisation. The three stages of training are:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first phase of training takes place at National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad for a period of 6 months.
