UPSC Admit Card 2023 is an official document containing the name, roll number, parents’ details, exam centre location and time, etc. The Union Public Service Commission releases the UPSC Admit Card for each stage separately on the official website a few days before the commencement of the exam. All candidates must carry their admit card to appear for each stage of the Civil Services exam - Prelims, Mains, and Interview.
The UPSC Mains Admit Card 2023 is released on 28 August 2023. The exam will take place on 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24 September 2023. UPSC Mains is the second stage of the Civil Services exam. Those who have cleared Prelims and have successfully filled out the Detailed Application Form will be eligible to sit for the Mains exam at the allotted exam centres.
The UPSC Mains Admit card is released almost 2 weeks before the examination commences. The same Admit Card is applicable for all 9 papers in the Mains examination.

UPSC usually releases the Prelims Admit Card 4 weeks before the exam date. The details for both the exams, that is, General Studies Paper-1 (9:30-11:30 am) and the CSAT Paper-2 (2:30-4:30 pm), are mentioned on the Admit Card along with the candidates' Roll no. and Examination Center.
The UPSC CSE admit card serves as an important document for identification and verification purposes. It contains essential information such as your name, photograph, signature, registration number, and examination details and acts as proof that you are a valid candidate appearing for the UPSC CSE exam.

The UPSC Admit card for the interview is released after the Mains exams are successfully conducted, and the results are declared. Once the e-summons are released, the direct link for the same is intimated to the candidates through the official website.
Candidates must note that the Interview call letter is communicated through email. All the candidates who have passed the UPSC Mains stage have to follow the guidelines mentioned in their UPSC CSE e-summon letter.
