About Prelims CAMP 2025

An exam-relevant Prelims Test Series is an indispensable part of UPSC preparation. It provides an essential platform for honing your skills in terms of time management, accuracy and knowledge. It is only through a rigorous and time-bound schedule and after analyzing your performance at every step that you’ll build the confidence and strategic approach needed to succeed in the exam.

The time between December and May is the most crucial for all UPSC aspirants when it comes to Prelims. It is during this period that they are in constant need of proper strategy and accurate direction to steer their preparation. The Prelims CAMP (Continuous Assessment and Monitoring Program) aims to sail through all aspirants in this important phase to enable them to crack the UPSC Prelims 2025.

The CAMP 2025 programme will have a total of 60 Tests and will be conducted in two phases.

  • The Phase I will contain a total of 50 Half Length Tests (42 GS and 8 CSAT).
  • The Phase II will begin after the end of Phase-I. It will contain 5 GS Revision Tests and 5 Full Length Tests (3 GS and 2 CSAT).The program implements a "Test and Teach" model that combines regular assessments with detailed discussions by subject specialised teachers to enhance understanding and question-solving skills, fostering a holistic approach to learning. This model helps aspirants to identify their gaps in understanding and to develop the skills they need to answer questions accurately and efficiently.

Structure of the Programme

 

The Structure and Schedule of Prelims CAMP 2025 is as follows:

Phase I – Half Length Tests:

  • The Phase I aims is to cover the entire syllabus of each subject in an extensive manner.
  • The 44 Subject-wise Tests (36 GS + 8 CSAT) will cover all basic NCERTs and standard book resources of the respective subjects.
  • It will also have 6 Exclusive Current Affairs Tests for each subject which will cover all current affairs from that particular subject.
  • The GS Tests will have 50 questions each and CSAT Tests will have 40 questions each.
  • Test Cum Teach Model:
    • Each test will be followed by intensive classroom-based discussion and analysis sessions led by Subject Matter Experts.
    • Solving practice tests daily under the guidance of experts will help students in concept building and learn important tips and strategies for enhancing their question-solving skills for the Prelims Test.
  • Mentoring Sessions:
    • Personalised mentoring tailored to the Prelims exam will be provided to students for much-needed support and guidance.
    • To help students clear their doubts even after the discussion sessions, Subject Matter Experts will conduct mentoring sessions on that particular topic to handhold students develop requisite competence.

Phase II – Revision + Full Length Tests:

In the Second phase, 5 GS Revision Tests (1 for each subject) and 5 Full Length Tests (3 GS and 2 CSAT) will be conducted. Each test will focus more on exam-relevant static and current affairs topics. Most of the questions will be based on recent UPSC trends. There will be a number of application-based and some out-of-the-box questions which will prepare students to deal with the unpredictable nature of the UPSC exam.

  • The GS Tests will have 100 questions each and CSAT Tests will have 80 questions each.
  • There will be No Discussion and Mentoring sessions for Revision and Full Length Tests.

Important Instructions

Important Instructions for Students:


* Each Test will be conducted between 10:30 to 11:30 AM on the given Test date. The Test Discussion for the same will be followed (both in Offline and Online mode) after a break of 15 minutes on the same day. 
* The Mentoring Session for students will be conducted at 4:00 PM on the Test date only in Online mode. 
* Online CAMP Tests will be conducted through the student's portal at vajiramias.com. Tests will be uploaded at 10:30 AM as per the given schedule. 
* Students can choose to take the Tests online anytime between December 2024 and May 2025. However, only those who appear for and submit the Test on the scheduled Test Date and Time will be considered for the ranking. 

* Classroom Discussions are also available for the students who enrol at the Chennai Centre in Offline Mode.
