UPSC Essay Test Series 2026 by Vajiram & Ravi
Vajiram & Ravi Essay Test Series Program – June 2026
The Essay paper in the UPSC Mains Exam is a golden opportunity for candidates to boost their Mains score and move closer to attaining the rank of their dreams.
Yet, many aspirants are not able to give this paper the attention it requires.
Common Challenges Faced by Aspirants
- Mental Block and Inertia: Many aspirants are unable to practice essay writing due to a lack of routine and discipline. They know that practice is important, but they find themselves unable to start writing due to various reasons.
- Lack of Reliable Evaluation: This is perhaps the biggest reason candidates don’t practice essay writing. Because they know that if they don’t get appropriate feedback, just writing essays will not help them improve.
- Absence of Course Correction: In essays, small changes can yield big results and marks. But without proper evaluation, candidates are unable to understand how to improve – what to change, how to present their thoughts, or what to focus on in their next essay.
- Lack of Accountability: When candidates are not held accountable by a teacher/evaluator, they lack the drive to improve. Joining a Test Series ensures that they have to follow a deadline for writing, helps them see how they are performing compared to other students, and makes them accountable to the evaluator if their marks remain stagnant.
- Decline in Motivation: Irregular practice and lack of constructive feedback causes a decline in motivation to write future essays. Many candidates enter the Mains exam hall hoping for good marks, instead of a well-practiced strategy to get a good score.
These challenges often turn the Essay paper into a guessing game for many students, rather than an opportunity to score high and differentiate themselves.
The Vajiram & Ravi Essay Test Series is designed to tackle these very challenges.
