RK Narayan Early Life and Education

RK Narayan was born on 10 October 1906 in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu. His full name was Rasipuram Krishnaswami Narayanaswami. He graduated from Maharaja’s College, Mysore, in 1930. His first novel, Swami and Friends, was published in 1935 with the support of British novelist Graham Greene.
