Saltoro Kangri is the highest peak of the Saltoro Range and one of the highest mountains in the Karakoram Mountain System. It rises to an elevation of 7,742 metres (25,400 feet), making it the 31st highest peak in the world. The mountain is surrounded by glaciers and remains snow-covered throughout the year.
