Who is the Defence Minister of India?

Current Defence Minister of India
Rajnath Singh is the current Defence Minister of India, serving in the office since 30 May 2019. Constitutional Position of the Defence Minister

- Article 74: The President acts on the aid and advice of the Council of Ministers, headed by the Prime Minister.

- Collective Responsibility: The Defence Minister is collectively responsible to the Lok Sabha along with the Council of Ministers.
