India successfully conducted a user trial of the Agni-4 Medium-Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Odisha, on 6 August 2026. The launch was carried out under the Strategic Forces Command (SFC) and validated all operational and technical parameters of the missile.

Agni-4 is an indigenously developed, nuclear-capable medium-range ballistic missile designed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to provide India with a reliable long-range strategic strike capability.
