Kakinada Port is an all-weather deep water port. It is located on the East Coast of India, Andhra Pradesh which is about 170 km south of the Visakhapatnam Port. The seaport was
commissioned by the Andhra Pradesh Government in November 1997. However,the Port was privatized in the year 1999.
Masulipatnam rose to prominence under the Qutb Shahi kings. The town served as the primary sea port for their dominion, the kingdom of Golconda.
The port of Nelluru is known as the Krishnapatnam Port. It is located in Andhra Pradesh. The Port has been named so as the Vijayanagar Emperor, Krishnadevaraya used to operate this port.
