- Ambala Air Force Station, Haryana Ambala has the oldest Air Force Station strategically located around 220 km away from the India-Pakistan border. Ambala Air Force station is the first squadron of Dassault Rafale combat aircraft.Â
- Adampur AFS, Punjab India’s second-largest airbase, close to the Pakistan border. Played a vital role in the 1965 and 1971 wars and houses MiG-29 squadrons along with one of Asia’s biggest underground hangars.
