Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan launched India’s First Non-GMO Popcorn Maize Hybrid Seed at the Gourmet Popcornica facility in Musunuru, Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh.

• Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN): Provides income support to eligible farmers.
• Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY): Provides crop insurance to protect farmers against specified risks.
• Kisan Credit Card (KCC): Provides access to institutional credit for agricultural activities.
• Namo Drone Didi: Promotes the use of drones in agriculture through women-led Self Help Groups.

The Vice President emphasised that such initiatives, along with modern technology and indigenous innovation, can make agriculture more productive, innovative and profitable.
