  • Reach to the exam centre at least one hour before the exam begins. The entry gates will close ten minutes before the scheduled time, and late entry is not allowed under any circumstances.
  • Only black ballpoint pens are permitted for writing answers. Do not use pencils, fountain pens, coloured ink.
  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, books, notes, and any loose papers are not allowed in the examination hall. Bring only essential items like pens, admit card, and ID proof.
  • Fill in all details on the answer booklet carefully. Do not write your name, roll number, or anything that may reveal your identity inside the answer sheet. Stick to the word limit given for each question.
  • Maintain discipline inside the examination hall. Follow all instructions given by invigilators, avoid talking to other candidates, and focus on time management to attempt all questions effectively.
  • Before leaving, hand over your answer booklet and any rough sheets to the invigilator. Taking any exam material outside the hall is not allowed.

Prohibited Items at Exam Centers

It is equally important for candidates to be aware of the Prohibited Items at Exam Centers. Carrying any restricted item will be treated as a serious violation of the exam guidelines issued by the UPSC.
