Ankita Agarwal Challenges
Ankita’s UPSC journey was far from smooth. In her first attempt in 2019, she secured the 236th rank, which placed her in the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). While undergoing training for the IRS, she simultaneously prepared for her third attempt in 2021, a task that demanded exceptional discipline and time management.
Balancing the rigors of training with exam preparation was mentally and physically taxing. She also spoke openly about the emotional strain and pressure that comes with repeated attempts.
To overcome this, Ankita stressed the importance of maintaining balance, taking breaks, staying connected with friends and family, and keeping a healthy lifestyle to avoid burnout. Her persistence through these challenges eventually helped her achieve her goal of joining the IAS.
