Pakhui (Pakke) Tiger Reserve is a protected area in the east Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is bounded by Kameng River in the West-North, Pakke River in the East.
Originally, this was known as Pakke Reserve Forest. It was designated ‘Como Sanctuary’ in 1977. it was declared as Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary in 2002. It was finally brought under the Project Tiger Scheme of Government of India on February 18, 2002 and just after five days it was designated as Pakhui Tiger Reserve.
