PONDICS, Group ‘B’ Officers are responsible for running the administration of Pondicherry Union Territory. Their roles and responsibilities include:
- Implements government policies and schemes and ensures that people receive maximum benefits.
- Pondicherry Civil Servants maintain peace and safety in their assigned areas to prevent any disturbances.
- PONDICS Officers are responsible for enforcing rules and actions and investigate and enforce regulations.
