The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the UPSC IFS Final Result 2024 on 19th May 2025. Candidates who appeared for the Personality Test can now check the result PDF, which lists the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates. A total of 143 candidates have been qualified for appointment to the Indian Forest Service.

UPSC IFS Result 2025 Overview

The UPSC IFS Selection Process 2024 was based on the written exam held from 24th November to 1st December 2024 and interviews conducted from 21st April to 2nd May 2025. A total of 143 candidates have been recommended for appointment. However, 2 PwBD-1 vacancies remain unfilled and will be carried forward, while results of 7 candidates have been withheld. UPSC IFS Vacancy 2025

UPSC has released a total of 150 vacancies for IFoS position, which include 9 reserved vacancies for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) across various sub-categories. Out of these, 143 candidates have been recommended for appointment based on merit and eligibility. However, 2 vacancies under the PwBD-1 category remain unfilled due to the absence of suitable candidates and will be carried forward to the next recruitment cycle. The remaining 5 vacancies are subject to further verification, including the cases of 7 candidates whose results have been withheld.
