Bulk Drug Park is a strategic industrial initiative of the Government of India aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing of bulk drugs, also known as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. India has a globally strong pharmaceutical sector, yet it remains dependent on imports for several critical bulk drugs due to cost advantages abroad.
